Diamond White voices super-genius Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) in
Disney Branded Television’s “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil
Dinosaur,” based on Marvel’s hit comic books.

White began singing and acting at an early age, winning a role in the
national touring musical of Oprah Winfrey’s “The Color Purple”
by the age of eight. Later, she moved on to join the cast of “The
Lion King” in Las Vegas.

Music is White’s first love, and she auditioned for “The X
Factor” in 2012. She placed in the top five, and her career began to
take off with steady work as an actress and voiceover artist. Her
voice work credits include “Phineas and Ferb,” “Sofia the
First,” “Transformers: Rescue Bots,” “The Lion Guard,”
“American Dad!,” “Pinky Malinky” and “Close Enough.”

She landed leading roles in Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea
Halloween” and the sequel “Boo 2! A Madea Halloween.” She also
starred in the indie film “Rock Steady Row,” which won the
Narrative Feature Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award for Best
Narrative Feature at Slamdance Film Festival in 2018, as well as
“F*&% the Prom.”

White’s television credits include recurring roles on “Dear White
People,” “Code Black,” ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat,”
American Koko,” “Sing It!,” Disney Channel’s “Girl Meets
World,” ABC’s “black-ish,” and as Lala on the final season of
“Empire.” In 2020, she joined the cast of “The Bold and the
Beautiful” as Paris Buckingham.

The youngest of four siblings, White was born in Detroit, Michigan.
She currently resides in Los Angeles.
